چکیده
In this work, we study temperature sensing with finite-sized strongly correlated systems exhibiting quantum phase transitions. We use the Fisher information (QFI) approach to quantify sensitivity in estimation, and apply a finite-size scaling framework link critical exponents of system around points. numerically calculate QFI points for two experimentally-realizable systems: spin-1 Bose-Einstein condensate spin-chain Heisenberg XX model presence an external magnetic field. Our results confirm properties QFI. Furthermore, discuss experimentally-accessible observables that (nearly) saturate at these systems.

Critical Attractive Spin Systems
We study a class of attractive spin systems. We prove that for these processes, the system dies out when the parameters are on the critical surface. We also prove that the supercritical process survives with positive probability in a suuciently thick space-timèslab'.
متن کاملVortices in Quantum Spin Systems
We examine spin vortices in ferromagnetic quantum Heisenberg models with planar anisotropy on two–dimensional lattices. The symmetry properties and the time evolution of vortices built up from spin–coherent states are studied in detail. Although these states show a dispersion typical for wave packets, important features of classical vortices are conserved. Moreover, the results on symmetry prop...
متن کاملDecoherence in quantum spin systems
Computer simulations of decoherence in quantum spin systems require the solution of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for interacting quantum spin systems over extended periods of time. We use exact diagonalization, the Chebyshev polynomial technique, four Suzuki-formula algorithms, and the short-iterative-Lanczos method to solve a simple model for decoherence of a quantum spin system by ...
متن کاملQuantum Spin Systems
The theory of quantum spin systems is concerned with properties of quantum systems with an infinite number of degrees of freedom that each have a finite-dimensional state space. Occasionaly, one is specifically interested in finite systems. In the most common examples one has an ndimensional Hilbert space associated with each site of a d-dimensional lattice. A model is normally defined by descr...
متن کاملQuantum Critical Points in Quantum Impurity Systems
The numerical renormalization group method is used to investigate zero temperature phase transitions in quantum impurity systems, in particular in the soft-gap Anderson model, where an impurity couples to a non-trivial fermionic bath. In this case, zero temperature phase transitions occur between two different phases whose fixed points can be built up of non-interacting single-particle states. ...
